Over the years running this site we’ve received countless emails from frustrated visitors who don’t understand how freebie sites work or how to best take advantage of them. So many people don’t get that there is a strategy that must be used with this (or any other legit freebie site) in order to get the most out of it.
Most of the frustrated e-mails we receive are from people who’ve only recently discovered freebie sites, and who’ve only requested 2-3 free samples and then get discouraged because the few samples they requested don’t get sent to them. They don’t understand that an online sample is never a sure thing, and that there is a very specific strategy that must be implemented consistently in order to get lots of free stuff.

On this page we are showing off all the samples we were able to get in the mail by diligently following the advice in our complete guide to freebie hunting. If you follow the same strategies you too can get freebies in the mail just like this! All these samples were obtained using the exact same process our visitors use to request samples. We received no special treatment from these companies because of our website, and indeed they had no way of distinguishing our sample requests from the general public. In other words these results ARE typical if you follow the proper strategy!

The word ‘free’ is commonly misused.
To some of us it means getting something without having to pay for it. Then there are those of us who are extremely skeptical of anything presented as “free” and keep a wary eye out for hidden costs (perceived or real).
It’s not difficult to see where this skepticism comes from. In the world of business, ‘free’ isn’t always used in the same context as its most popular interpretation – ‘completely without cost’. To be honest, some blame also lies with marketers who have over the years falsely used claims of freebies only to blatantly lure people in. Caveats associated with a freebie? That does not make any sense. Why would you call it free if it isn’t actually so?
In defense of freebie sites, however, the samples offered are genuinely free. But these are requested by visitors in hopes that they will be delivered. But sometimes that does not happen. Sometimes you request a sample and it never arrives and that gives rise to anger. One feels they have been fooled, and their time wasted (having filled out elaborate forms and what not prior to placing the request).
We understand this sentiment very well, which is why we are writing this 3-part guide hoping to clear some air.
In this part we take a detailed look at how sites providing free samples work. In the process we bust a lot of myths and clear up misunderstandings so that you are able to make better use of your time spent with us.
With that out of the way, let’s dive straight into what constitutes a freebie site and how it all comes together.

Welcome to the second part of the freebie hunting guide that we have put together to simplify for you the entire process of finding free samples online. We aim to equip you with enough knowledge, tips, and tricks for you to be able to successfully receive sample after sample delivered straight to your mail box.
In the previous post we looked at how freebie sites work, what to expect when you place sample requests with them, and how to use these sites to your advantage. We spoke about the strategy you should use to translate your time spent on freebie sites into actual benefits. ie. Free Samples!
In this installment of the guide we look at the all-important question of how to tell a legitimate sample or site from a not-so-legit one.
It’s an ever important question, and in our experience the answer is not always obvious or forthcoming to those looking for free product samples online. Just because a web page says they are offering a sample of a certain product doesn’t mean you are certain to receive a sample from them. This is trure many times even when talking about a legitimate sample offer.
But then there are those not so legitimate sample offers. And learning to tell them apart will make all the difference in helping you spend your time wisely and productively when seeking out free samples.
You have our sympathies if you have ever fallen prey to unscrupulous elements who have set up their dodgy ‘business’ online with the express purpose of duping unwary visitors.
But we can assure you that by the time you are done reading this post you will never again fall into any such trap. We’ll teach you how to find legitimate free samples and also discuss a host of things ranging from phishing scams to industrial freebies.
With that established, let’s get on with how to tell the real thing from the fake one, and make your online freebie hunting experience safe and productive.

In our previous guides we focused on how freebie sites work and how to spot legitimate samples, so that you don’t end up wasting your time. In this guide we’ll share tips, tricks, and strategies to help you maximize your chances of receiving free samples.
It’s very simple, But it does require you to have a plan of action and to be consistent. So let’s get started and dive right into it!
Cast a wide net
There are lots of different freebie sites, which is great news for you. But there are also many people looking for free samples online, which isn’t great news for you since that means you have fierce competition to get free stuff. In short, you will have to be a bit competitive yourself. This means hunting for free samples proactively.
If you are currently in the habit of only looking at one freebie site to find your samples, you need to change that. Cast a wide net and find yourself 2-3 good sites you can check daily.
